A distinguishing characteristic of the CALL system is the focus on the specific tasks, routines, and activities carried out by leaders across the organization. Each survey item examines a specific practice, and users in the reporting system can refer to each specific action-based item for practice-based feedback. Ultimately, this is where the greatest value of information can be found; we encourage CALL users to get to the item-level data to examine those specific practices.
In the reporting system, each item provides the item construct, the individual rating, the question, the responses, the distribution of responses, and a visual aid (bar graph) for that distribution. School leaders can focus on items with a cluster of responses on either end of the spectrum or a distribution that isn't normal (statistically speaking). Be sure to explore the sample CALL Data Feedback Report for more examples of these type of data.
